Disneyland Copy Cat Monte Cristo Sandwich

Hello,

Today I was in need of some Disney magic…..and Disney food. So me and my mom decided to make Disneyland inspired monte cristo sandwiches. If you have been to Disneyland and tried a monte cristo from Cafe Orleans, THEN YOU KNOW. You know how magically delicious these sandwiches are. For those who don’t know, a monte cristo is a deep fried sandwich with ham, turkey, and cheese, dusted with powdered sugar and served with jelly for dipping. LIKE WHAT…who came up with this INSANE sandwich. And it is extremely hard to find these sandwiches at any other restaurant. So naturally, me and mom were like, ok we will make it ourselves! Thanks to the help of this lovely recipe, we whipped out some delish sandies today:

So if you want to make one for yourself, the recipe above is an excellent source πŸ™‚

It was surprisingly a really easy recipe and turned out to be so yummy. We expected it to be super greasy because it was deep-fried but it wasn’t at all! The recipe called for 3 slices of each cheese and meat, but I only did 2 because 3 seemed a lil excessive. My mom also added extra ingredients to put her own spin on it.
